Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Styles Gallery ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Styles Gallery is a design-preview tool — a free visual gallery of design styles, color palettes, font pairings and motion patterns, and a Chrome extension that applies those design tokens live to the page in front of you, in your own browser, for preview purposes. How exactly a page follows depends on how it is built: sites on Tailwind CSS v4 with shadcn take every axis natively, and anything else — older Tailwind, WordPress, Bootstrap, hand-written CSS — gets an approximation through direct overrides. Our compatibility page describes both, along with what is never touched (layout and content, cross-origin iframes, shadow DOM). The extension changes only what your own browser renders on your screen; it does not modify any website itself. The Service may include various features and functionalities that are subject to change.

3. User Accounts

Most of the Service needs no account: the gallery, and applying any design to any site, work without one. An account is what pinning and Pro need. There is no password — you sign in with Google or with a link we email you — so if you create an account you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep control of the mailbox or Google account you sign in with, since anyone holding it can sign in as you
  • Promptly update any changes to your account information
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

4. Privacy Policy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

5. Plans, Subscription and Payments

The Service has a free plan and a paid plan ("Pro"). Free, with no account at all: the full gallery, and every design style, palette, font pairing and motion setting applied to any site you visit, plus screenshots, the eyedropper and the CSS the extension painted on the page. A free account adds one pinned site, so your picks survive a reload there. Pro adds the AI prompt export and pinning without a limit, as listed on our pricing page. By subscribing to a paid plan:

  • You agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription plan
  • Subscription fees are billed in advance and renew automatically until you cancel
  • You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method
  • If Pro is not right for you, we will refund the first payment on your account in full — ask within 14 days of it and we will not ask you why. This covers monthly, yearly and lifetime alike. A refund ends Pro access on the account. To ask, email [email protected] or use the Support page
  • Later renewals are not automatically refundable. You can cancel at any time before one, and you keep Pro to the end of the period you have already paid for. If a renewal took you by surprise, write to us anyway — we would far rather sort it out with you directly
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings; cancelling stops the next renewal and your Pro access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, with no partial refund for the remainder
  • Lifetime plans are a one-time purchase of the Pro feature set for as long as the Service operates; they never renew and they carry the same 14-day guarantee as any first payment
  • We may decline a refund on an account showing the automated, resold or shared use described in Section 6
  • If a paid plan ends, nothing is deleted — your picks live in your own browser — but the Pro features stop: the prompt export locks, and pinning falls back to the single site a free account keeps

Nothing in this section limits the refund, cancellation or withdrawal rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in. Where those rights give you more than we offer here, they apply.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Share your account, or the sign-in links we email you, with others
  • Access the Service by automated means, or resell or redistribute what it returns

7. Third-Party Services and Content

Styles Gallery is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, Tailwind Labs, shadcn, or any other third party whose service or work it works alongside. Fonts previewed through the extension are served from Google Fonts under their own licences. The design styles, palettes and guidelines in the gallery are interpretations of publicly documented design vocabulary — aids to choosing a direction, not certified design standards. Previewing a design on a website you do not own changes nothing on that website; what you do with a design direction on your own projects is between you and your stack. The open-source work this product ships, and the licence each piece travels under, are listed in full on our licences page.

8. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms. If we terminate your account other than for a breach, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid period.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a preview will render identically on every website. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply only as far as that jurisdiction permits.
